An eighth-minute goal from Shinya Kodono was enough for the visiting team to win in the midweek matchup against Orange County Soccer Club's U-23 club.

The loss put an end to Surf’s three-match winning streak, with the final victory coming last Saturday against Fresno Fuego.

Surf now faces a long break before their next matchup on June 23. Currently, Surf sits in second place in the Southwest Division with six games left to play.

The boys in blue look to finish the regular season strong starting with their third matchup versus SoCal Seahorses.  Kickoff is set for 7:00pm on Friday, June 23. Surf will return home quickly for their last regular season match at Army & Navy Academy versus Fresno Fuego which is sure to be intense.
